The Last Exit for the Metallic Onslaught: Afterwards - October 2, 2002
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Both shows were pretty normal this week.  Of note, I did banish Zoltan from
the show indefinitely for speaking horrible things about missing Vern,
Chuck, The Monkey, and wanting Jeffie to come on the show...
And on a sad note, Wrestler 'Flyboy' Rocco Rock, one half of the Tag Team
The Public Enemy died on September 21st of a massive heart attack after
wrestling a match and preparing for another one that same night.  He was 49,
but looked and wrestled like he was in his 30's.  The Public Enemy were one
of the top teams in ECW in their heyday, and without them, wrestling would
not likely be what it is today.  Sabu started the table bit, PE took it from
him and took it further, the Dudley's brought it to WWE after picking it up
in ECW.  What would wrestling be today without the regular table spot?
Anyway...
outside, dreams.Who looks inside, awakens"
Ok, I've not had enough time to send these out on time, so here, once again
is the combined weekly edition.  Upcoming this week on the shows...  Jeffie
I believe has a concussion, or conpushin, as he calls it, but foolishly
still wants to appear on The Metallic Onslaught.  I think it was that
devestating baking pan shot that Rick gave him at the end of the night.
He's been loopier than usual, too, because of it.  Should make for some
interesting interactions...
And I have been told that there may be a couple VERY special guests on the
Last Exit this week.  This came in a rather cryptic message and I don't know
who or what it's referring to, but I guess we will find out Saturday night.
Last week our giveaways went rather well, and we did a nice set JUST for
Zoltan (who is still banished) full of Shatner and Fraggles.
The attached pic is of the guy claiming to not be Zoltan last week.  As some
of you heard, he was part of the CIAA, the Citizens of Ithaca for Aural
Awareness.  Probably started by Zoltan just to be annoying.  There were
three of them, the one likely to be Zoltan, some tall guy, and some really
old guy.  Zoltan also seems to have stolen our entire 1983 collection, which
must have taken some work for him.  Anyway, I unbanished him and he brought
it back.  Then we had Friend and ANOTHER Friend attack him.  I don't know
where the Other Friend came from, but it was scary.
This week on The Metallic Onslaught, there will be no Shoebox as he is
playing a show in MA.  Other than that, all should be like always.  Maybe...
And I have no idea what's up for The Last Exit yet.  We will see...
The Last Exit for the Metallic Onslaught - October 26, 2002
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Back to last week... So two Zoltan groupies showed up. They had travelled
a pretty long distance to meet Zoltan, who wasn't there. They were slightly
disappointed. Arthur tried to get them to become his groupies instead, but
they weren't going for it. Then, out went the lights and Zoltan's music
began... And in came Arthur doing a poor Zoltan impersonation. A really
poor one, actually. The groupies, however, were fooled completely. The
worshpped him as the one and only Zoltan and even stripped naked and ran
around in joy. Alas, Zoltan groupies aren't that bright. Eventually, they
started to suspect something was wrong. It was at that point that Arthur
lured them outside so they could watch him check his tires. He then knocked
them out and stuffed them in his Trunk. I have no idea of their fate.
Friend came in somewhere along this and was all happy and friendly with the
disturbing celebration that was going on. Apparently, Arthur stuffing the
groupies in his trunk disturbed Friend a bit as he was shaken up and crying
by the next break. It was an odd night.

To top it all off, The Apocalypse Box opened itself. It was a bit upset
about not being opened last week. Inside was a couple of things. One a
photo of Zoltan the Avenger. He had a... Um, yeah, up his, well... It was
damned disturbing.
